Weekend Classes - On Sale for $389!

Includes: online E-learning, 2 boat trips and rental of BCD, regulator, tanks, weights, & wetsuit.

Weekend Schedules: Weekend classes start on most weekends and they will run for 2 consecutive weekends. On the 1st weekend you have a short classroom session and then spend most of each of these days diving in our new heated pool. The class and pool times start at 9:00 am and run through approximately 6:00 pm.

If the class decides to participate in a Catalina Weekend your class could start the first Saturday as early as 7:00 am. The second weekend consists of your boat dives. Start times will vary from 5:30 am to 7:00 am departures with ending times of approximately 5:00 pm. The course includes 2 boat trips. Boat trips will vary depending on when you schedule your class. Food, lodging, air fills and gratuity are additional for Catalina Weekends.

Students must provide their own mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and gloves which can be purchased through Dive N' Surf or they can rent them. Rental cost is $100.

Weeknight Classes - On Sale for $389.99!

This is 4 weeknights and 1 weekend of beach diving. Includes all of the books & rental of BCD, regulator, tanks, weights, and wetsuit.

Weekday Schedules: Weekday classes run 2 to 3 times a month. Class start days alternate Mondays and Tuesdays every other week. The class will run 4 consecutive nights for 1 week from 6:00 pm to approximately 10:30 pm. On these nights you have a classroom and pool session. The weekend following pool sessions you will start your ocean dives. We can conduct 2 beach dives each day of the weekend at Veterans Park near the Redondo Beach Pier (this is usually a 1/2 day) for Saturday and Sunday. Starting times vary between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. Boat dives are available for an additional $75 - $120 but the entire class would have to agree.

Students must provide their own mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and gloves which can be purchased through Dive N' Surf or they can rent them. Rental cost is $100.

**Neither class includes Surface Signal devices that are required. On your dives: food, water, & air fills NOT included, gratuity additional.

PADI Advanced Open Water Certification Classes

Tuition: $139.99

  • One class and one pool session - at instructors discretion
  • 5 open water dives - 2 open water core dives: deep and navigation dives. 3 elective dives: based upon instructor recommendations.
  • Sign up for e-learning Advanced Course here and connect through PADI. The e-learning cost is $164 and is paid to PADI and is NOT included in course price (replaces the classroom and homework book sessions).

Required Materials

  • For advanced class dives you must supply a total scuba diving system including BCD, regulator, alternate air source, dive computer or submersible pressure gauge: This equipment may be rented from our rental department for an addition $45.
  • Compass, timing device, dive knife, slate and whistle, primary dive light, back-up light and tank light stick. (Students receive a 10% discount on all non-sale gear purchases).
**Boat dive tickets are not included in the cost of the class. Trips can range from $75 and up per person.
